Why I train:

As a college athlete, I was told after several injuries that my body was just not made for running and basketball, and that unless I gave them up, I would continue to suffer injuries. I refused to believe that my body was simply incapable of these activities, and I began to research functional exercises that would help my body handle the strain. Ten years later, I count trail running as one of my favorite activities! I love to help others break that train of thought that they simply can't participate in their favorite activities anymore.

Hiking, trail running, fundraising for cancer research, advocating for pet adoption, rooting for the Phillies, Flyers, and Penn State Football.
